What I do,and what it will notdo for you.
Five treatments, each one something I hold a qualification in. Every section below says what it is for, and then says plainly where it stops — because the second half is the part that saves people money.

Hair removal, worked out over a course rather than sold as a single session.
Laser and intense pulsed light both reduce hair by heating the follicle, and which of the two suits you depends on your hair and your skin rather than on which machine is in the room. A patch test comes first, always, and the plan is built around your growth cycle — which is why this is quoted as a course and not as an appointment.
It is a reduction, not a permanent removal, and it works far better on some hair than others. If your hair is very fine or very fair I will tell you so before you book, not after.

Controlled injury, for texture, scarring and the quality of the surface.
A Dermapen puts a field of very fine channels into the skin and lets it rebuild. It is the treatment I reach for when the problem is texture — old acne scarring, open pores, a surface that has stopped reflecting light evenly — rather than tone.
It needs three or four sessions spaced a month apart before there is anything to look at, and you will be red for a day or two each time. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling.

Resurfacing at a strength chosen for your skin, not for the brochure.
A peel lifts the outermost layer so that what grows back is more even. The acid, the strength and the number of layers are all decisions, and they are made after looking at your skin rather than before — which is why a peel is never the first appointment.
A peel will not fix pigmentation you are still making. If the sun or your hormones are driving it, we deal with that first or the pigment simply comes back.

The gentlest thing on this list, and the most immediately visible.
A sterile blade held flat against the skin takes off dead surface cells and the fine vellus hair with them. Makeup sits differently afterwards and so does light. It is often what people book first, and it works well in front of a peel because everything after it goes in more evenly.
The hair grows back exactly as it was — finer or coarser is a myth. It is not a treatment for active acne.

The appointment everything else is decided in, and the one I care most about.
Skin, history, what you have already tried, what you actually want to change, and what is realistic in the time you have. Sometimes the honest answer is a course of something; sometimes it is to change one product and come back in eight weeks; occasionally it is that this is a job for a dermatologist and not for me.
I would rather talk you out of a treatment than take money for one that was never going to work.
One room,one practitioner.
Every treatment on this page is carried out at Tasya Beauty, the practice I founded. It is one room and one pair of hands, which is a deliberate limit rather than a stage of growth: it is what makes it possible to remember what your skin did last time without reading it off a screen.
Booking, prices and the clinic’s own address live on its site. This one is mine.

Then start withthe consultation.
It is the appointment everything else is decided in, and the one where being talked out of something is a perfectly good outcome.
