I treat skin for a living and I run the practice the treatments happen in. Most of what follows is the thinking behind that — how I trained, what I will and will not do to a face, and why the first appointment is nearly always a conversation rather than a procedure.

Skin is a longconversation.
Nobody has ever won one in a single appointment. The results people remember come from a plan held to over months — a course finished rather than abandoned at the session where it looks worse, and a routine at home simple enough that it is still being followed in March.
So the work divides in two. There is the technical half: light, acid, needles, and knowing precisely what each one is doing at what depth. And there is the other half, which is deciding what not to do — talking somebody out of a treatment that was never going to answer their problem, or saying plainly that what they have described is a dermatologist’s job and not mine.
I would rather talk you out of a treatment than take money for one that was never going to work.

Five things,done properly.
This is the whole list. It is short on purpose — a practitioner who offers everything has trained deeply in nothing, and every one of these is something I hold a qualification in and use every week.

I foundedTasya Beauty.
It is the room the treatments happen in, and I built it so that the standard would be mine to keep rather than somebody else’s to set. Nobody is upsold, nothing is rushed, and the plan is written for the skin in front of me rather than read off a price list.
Every one ofthese ischeckable.
Listed with the body that awarded it, which is the only way a qualification means anything.

A first message does not have to be organised. What is bothering you, how long it has been going on, and what you have already tried is plenty to work from.
